Iron Mines of... WTF?
Ok, just finished thunderhead keep with two rangers, a warrior, and me (necro), plus four henchies. Went flawlessly. Didn't get the skill cap I wanted though, so I figured I'd go to the Iron Mines of Moladune.
My friend (a warrior) and I took some henchies. We died. Then we got two others, and took henchies, and died. THE FRICKEN HENCHIES AREN'T EVEN INFUSED! So my question? Am I right? Are they not infused? If so, what the hell is the point of having them for that mission?
Very truely yours,
zehly.

I beleive they used to only be partially infused, there was something in an update about it perhaps someone else can elaborate further. I think it was only 1 piece of armor or something to that extent.

If I remember correctly the update said the henchmen were infused for every mission after Iron Mines. It would be nice if all the PCs were infused that the henchies would also be infused, but I can see why they wouldn't want someone that was uninfused to be able to pick up 7 infused henchmen at the start of the mission.

The point is your not suppose to encounter the mursaat and jade before the seer infuses you and I think at that point the henchies get infused too...not sure though. So if the boss is not in the infuse run path but on rather on the path with shit load of jades and mursaat's then try going to seer first and go around.

No the henchies aren't infused even after visiting the seer, from what I've seen.

I used hench to travel from thunderhead to grotto... they dropped like flies... if there is an infuse for hench, I have not noticed much of a difference. It does seem confusing if they are not infused.

Correct, henchies don't get infused on Iron Mines. This makes the bonus very difficult. Trying to do it without resurrect or similar is close to impossible. I don't know how many times I resurrected my henchies before I got this one. To me the most difficult and tedious bonus to do with henchies in the game
